ONE Interactive Installation

India, being a home to various religious tradition, be it Hinduism, Christianity, Jewism, Islam, Buddhism, Zoroastrian often shape ideologies giving way to perception of what God ought to be, voicing various statements in this context.

This project is my personal take on these statements such as 'My God', 'Your God', 'I'll pray to my God', 'Hamare mein aise hi Hota hain', 'Worship this God, it is also a form of your God' all said at times on a serious note and at times in a casual day to day way.

Being a non-fanatic these statements often amused me.
The installation is comprised of hundreds of balloons, that has religious symbol of various Faith screen-printed on them, along with text 'Help Ever, Hurt Never', and 'There is only one religion, the religion of Love'. The balloons dance making the installation living, breathing and attracting the viewer to interact in a child-like way. The viewer has a choice to interact by adding one balloon and taking one with him, thus breaking the boundaries that one often associates with religious symbols.

Each and every individual who chooses to take a balloon not only takes a piece of Art with him, but it in turn personifies the principle 'I Am above you, below you, in front of you, behind you, within you', thus breaking the boundaries of 'My God', 'Your God', pervading the entire Kala Ghoda with 'ONE'.
